Check Your Exposure to Toxic Metals

Measure lead, mercury, gold, alimunium, nickel, cadmium and arsenic with one convenient
blood collection from home.

The included Tasso+ device collects a small whole-blood sample from your upper arm.
No finger prick, conventional blood draw or clinic appointment is required.

Metals: Lead, mercury, cadmium and arsenic

Method: ICP-MS analysis

Collection: Tasso+ device included

Sample: Minimum 300 µL whole blood

Results: Typically within 3–7 working days after arrival

What Does This Test Measure?

Lead
Exposure may occur through old paint, contaminated dust, plumbing, ceramics,
certain occupations and some imported products.

Mercury
Possible sources include certain fish, industrial exposure and products or
processes containing mercury.

Cadmium
Exposure is commonly associated with tobacco smoke, industrial processes,
contaminated food and environmental pollution.

Arsenic
Exposure may occur through contaminated water, certain foods and occupational
or environmental sources.

Why Measure Toxic Metals in Blood?

Blood testing is most useful for identifying recent, continuing or clinically
significant systemic exposure. The interpretation depends on the metal because
each element has different absorption, distribution and elimination kinetics.

A blood concentration does not always represent the total amount stored in the
body and cannot determine the exact source or timing of exposure.

When Can This Test Be Useful?

  • Possible workplace or environmental exposure
  • Frequent consumption of high-mercury fish
  • Exposure during renovation of older buildings
  • Contact with batteries, pigments, metals or industrial materials
  • Monitoring after a previously elevated toxic-metal result
  • General assessment of selected toxic-metal exposure

Simple Home Collection

1. Receive your kit
We deliver the complete Tasso+ collection kit directly to your home.

2. Collect from your upper arm
Place the device on your upper arm and press the button. A small whole-blood
sample is collected automatically.

3. Return your sample
Pack the tube using the supplied protective materials and return it according
to the enclosed instructions.

4. Receive your report
Your sample is analyzed using sensitive ICP-MS technology. Results are typically
available within 3–7 working days after your sample arrives.

Before Collection

Fasting is generally not required. Follow the hygiene and collection instructions
carefully to reduce the possibility of external contamination.

Recent seafood consumption can influence arsenic results. Follow the preparation
instructions included with your kit regarding food intake before collection.

Do not begin chelation treatment or stop prescribed medication without medical
guidance.

Your Results

Your report provides the measured concentration of each toxic metal together
with measurement units and laboratory reference intervals.

An elevated result indicates that further evaluation may be appropriate. Results
should be considered together with exposure history, occupation, diet, symptoms
and other relevant laboratory findings.

Four important toxic metals. One simple home collection.
