What Does This Test Measure?

Vitamin A
Supports vision, epithelial integrity, immune function, cellular differentiation
and normal growth.

Vitamin D
Regulates calcium and phosphate metabolism and contributes to bone, muscle and
immune function.

Vitamin E
Protects cell membranes and lipoproteins against oxidative damage through its
lipid-phase antioxidant activity.

Vitamin K1
Primarily supports the activation of vitamin K-dependent coagulation proteins.

Vitamin K2
Contributes to the activation of vitamin K-dependent proteins involved in bone
and vascular calcium regulation.

Why Test These Nutrients Together?

Fat-soluble vitamins depend on dietary fat, bile secretion, pancreatic function
and intestinal absorption. A disturbance in fat absorption may therefore influence
several of these nutrients simultaneously.

Vitamins D and K contribute to interconnected aspects of calcium metabolism, while
vitamins A, E support immune regulation, cellular integrity and antioxidant protection.

Simple Home Collection

1. Receive your kit
We deliver the Tasso+ device, collection materials and light-protective packaging.

2. Collect from your upper arm
Place the device on your upper arm and press the button. A small blood sample
is collected automatically.

3. Protect and return your sample
Place the tube immediately in the supplied light-protective packaging and return
it according to the enclosed instructions.

4. Receive your report
Your vitamins and carotenoids are analyzed using LC-MS/MS. Results are typically
available within 5–7 working days after your sample arrives.

Before Collection

Fast for 8–12 hours before collection. Water is allowed. Collect your sample in
the morning before breakfast to reduce the influence of recent dietary fat intake.

Unless medically required, avoid vitamin supplements for 48 hours before collection
to reduce the effect of a recent supplement dose.

Do not stop prescribed medication, medically necessary supplementation or
anticoagulant treatment without professional guidance.

Understanding Your Results

Your report provides the measured vitamins and carotenoids together with measurement
units and laboratory reference intervals.

Circulating concentrations may be influenced by recent dietary intake, supplementation,
inflammation, liver function, fat absorption and blood-lipid concentrations.

Vitamin K concentrations can vary with recent food intake and do not independently
measure coagulation function. Results should be considered together with medication,
diet and relevant clinical findings.
