Understand Your Hormone Balance From Home

Measure seven important female hormone markers during perimenopause, menopause
or postmenopause with one convenient home blood collection.

The included Tasso+ device collects a small blood sample from your upper arm.
No finger prick, conventional blood draw or clinic appointment is required.

Seven markers: FSH, LH, estradiol, SHBG, total testosterone,
free testosterone and DHEA-S

Collection: Tasso+ device included

Sample: Minimum 250 µL serum

Results: Typically within 1–3 working days after arrival

What Does This Test Measure?

FSH and LH
Pituitary hormones that regulate ovarian function. Their patterns commonly
change as ovarian activity declines during the menopausal transition.

Estradiol
The principal circulating estrogen before menopause. Concentrations may
fluctuate substantially during perimenopause and generally decline after menopause.

SHBG
A binding protein that influences how much estradiol and testosterone remain
available to tissues.

Total and free testosterone
Provide information about total circulating testosterone and the smaller unbound
fraction available to tissues.

DHEA-S
A stable adrenal androgen that contributes to the female androgen pool.

Why Test These Markers Together?

Female hormone balance involves communication between the pituitary gland, ovaries
and adrenal glands. Measuring these seven markers together provides broader insight
than measuring estradiol or FSH alone.

The combined pattern may help assess menopausal transition, estrogen status,
androgen availability and the biochemical effects of hormone treatment.

When Can This Test Be Useful?

  • Changes in menstrual-cycle frequency
  • Hot flushes or night sweats
  • Changes in sleep, mood or concentration
  • Reduced energy or libido
  • Changes in skin, hair or body composition
  • Questions about perimenopause or menopause
  • Monitoring prescribed hormone therapy

Simple Home Collection

1. Receive your kit
Your complete Tasso+ collection kit is delivered directly to your home.

2. Collect from your upper arm
Attach the Tasso+ device and press the button. A small blood sample is collected
automatically into the attached tube.

3. Return your sample
Pack the tube using the supplied materials and return it according to the enclosed
instructions.

4. Receive your report
Your seven hormone markers are analyzed by an accredited laboratory. Results are
typically available within 1–3 working days after your sample arrives.

Before Collection

Fasting is generally not required. If you still menstruate, record the first day
of your last period and your cycle day when collecting the sample.

Hormone concentrations can fluctuate considerably during perimenopause. One result
therefore represents a snapshot and should be considered together with symptoms
and menstrual history.

Hormone replacement therapy and hormonal contraception can substantially influence
the results. Do not stop treatment without medical advice. When monitoring therapy,
collect at a consistent interval relative to your dose.

Your Results

Your report presents all seven markers together with measurement units and
laboratory reference intervals.

This test can identify hormone patterns that may require further evaluation, but
a single blood result cannot independently confirm or exclude perimenopause or
menopause.

Women with regular menstrual cycles who require cycle-specific assessment may
benefit more from the Cycle Start Hormone Check, collected on
cycle days 2–5.
