What Does This Test Measure?

Total testosterone
Measures the combined bound and unbound testosterone circulating in your blood.

SHBG and albumin
These proteins bind testosterone and influence how much hormone remains available
to tissues.

Free testosterone
Estimated from total testosterone, SHBG and albumin to provide a clearer indication
of biologically available testosterone.

LH and FSH
Pituitary hormones that regulate testicular testosterone production, sperm
development and reproductive function.

DHEA-S
A stable adrenal androgen that contributes to the body’s overall androgen pool.

Why Test These Markers Together?

Total testosterone alone may not provide the full picture because changes in SHBG
can alter the amount of testosterone available to tissues.

Adding LH, FSH and DHEA-S helps show whether an androgen pattern may relate to
testicular production, pituitary stimulation, binding-protein changes or adrenal
androgen output.

Simple Home Collection

1. Receive your kit
Your complete Tasso+ collection kit is delivered directly to your home.

2. Collect from your upper arm
Attach the Tasso+ device and press the button. A small blood sample is collected
automatically into the attached tube.

3. Return your sample
Pack the tube using the supplied materials and return it according to the enclosed
instructions.

4. Receive your report
Your seven hormone markers are analyzed by an accredited laboratory. Results are
typically available within 1–3 working days after your sample arrives.

Before Collection

Testosterone follows a daily rhythm. For the most consistent assessment, collect
your sample between 07:00 and 10:00, preferably before breakfast.

Do not stop testosterone, DHEA or other prescribed medication without medical
advice. If you use hormone treatment, the timing of collection relative to your
dose can affect the result.

Your Results

Your report presents all seven markers together with measurement units and
laboratory reference intervals.

Male hormone results should be interpreted as a combined pattern. A single low
testosterone result does not by itself confirm testosterone deficiency and may
require confirmation with another morning sample.
