Bisphenol A (BPA) plus common replacements BPF and BPS.
Why it matters:
Bisphenols are widely discussed endocrine disruptors and may interfere with estrogen signaling, thyroid signaling, metabolic regulation, and reproductive health. BPF and BPS are not necessarily safer substitutes.
Common exposure sources:
Food packaging, canned food linings, plastic containers, thermal receipts, some water bottles, kitchenware.
Sample: Spot urine, creatinine-corrected.

- Sample: Spot urine (first morning preferred)
- Method: GC or LC-MS/MS (quantitative)
