Lymphocyte Transformation Test (LTT)

The Lymphocyte Transformation Test (LTT) evaluates cell-mediated (Type IV) hypersensitivity reactions by measuring lymphocyte proliferation after exposure to specific substances in vitro.

Unlike IgE allergy tests, LTT detects delayed immune reactions, which are often involved in:
