What it measures:
Urinary markers of common phthalate plasticisers.

Why it matters:
Phthalates are associated with endocrine disruption, reproductive effects, and metabolic disturbances. They are clinically relevant in fertility workups, hormone imbalance investigations, and high plastic exposure environments.

Common exposure sources:
Soft plastics (PVC), food packaging, fragrances/personal care products, vinyl flooring, medical tubing, indoor dust.

Sample & methodology

• Sample: Spot urine (first morning preferred)
• Method: GC or LC-MS/MS (quantitative)
• Reporting: Creatinine-corrected concentrations with interpretive comments
