You do not need to buy the tubes separately.<\/p><\/details>\n                        <details><summary>Reduce PFAS contamination<\/summary><p>Use only WHL-supplied or WHL-approved materials. Work on a clean surface, use fresh gloves, keep tubes capped when possible and avoid contact with unapproved fluoropolymer or PTFE materials. Follow the detailed WHL collection instructions.<\/p><\/details>\n                        <details><summary>Serum preparation<\/summary><p>This test requires serum. Allow the blood to clot in the collection tube, centrifuge according to the supplied instructions, then transfer serum to the supplied transfer tube. Keep the same patient code on both tubes. Do not freeze unseparated whole blood.<\/p><\/details>\n                        <details><summary>Temperature and storage<\/summary><p>Under WHL\u2019s general collection guidance, separated serum is generally stable at room temperature for at least 24 hours. Refrigeration at 2\u20138 \u00b0C is preferred. Separated serum may be stored at \u221220 \u00b0C for at least six months. Follow any sample-specific instructions supplied by WHL.<\/p><\/details>\n                        <details><summary>Several clinic days, one pickup<\/summary><p>You may collect over consecutive days and return samples together. Separate and freeze each day\u2019s serum at \u221220 \u00b0C until packing, then use the supplied ice packs for chilled return transport. Keep request forms in the separate document compartment.<\/p><\/details>\n                        <details><summary>Shipping and turnaround<\/summary><p>UPS clinical shipping can be arranged by WHL.
